About AFJ
Alliance for Justice is a national association of over 100 organizations, representing a broad array of groups committed to progressive values and the creation of an equitable, just, and free society. AFJ works to ensure that the federal judiciary advances core constitutional values, preserves human rights and unfettered access to the courts, and adheres to the even-handed administration of justice for all Americans. It is the leading expert on the legal framework for nonprofit advocacy efforts, providing definitive information, resources, and technical assistance that encourages organizations and their funding partners to fully exercise their right to be active participants in the democratic process.
Access to Justice
The Access to Justice Project builds on our long history of leadership on issues related to the courts and justice. Our goal is to develop a positive agenda to help reform the civil justice system so it's more responsive and effective for vulnerable people and groups. Learn More »

Bolder Advocacy
Through our Bolder Advocacy initiative, AFJ strengthens the capacity of the public interest community to influence public policy. Bolder Advocacy promotes active engagement in democratic processes and institutions by giving nonprofits and foundations the confidence to advocate effectively and by protecting their right to do so. Our goal is to demystify and decode advocacy by equipping organizations with knowledge and tools. We help organizations fully understand the rules and become assertive in their right to pursue their policy goals. Learn More »

Alliance for Justice West Coast Office
Since its launch in 2004, Alliance for Justice West Coast Office has continued to grow in its capacity and ability to provide advocacy resources to an ever expanding list of progressive nonprofit organizations. Through telephone technical assistance, in-house meetings, web workshops and on-site workshops, our attorneys and staff are valuable resources for gaining understanding of the laws and regulations that govern advocacy and election-related activities by nonprofit organizations. Member Organizations
Alliance for Justice has a broad and diverse membership, but our member organizations agree that the voice of the nonprofit sector must remain loud, clear, and independent in all public policy debates. Learn More »
