Alexa is the Program Coordinator for the Washington, D.C. office of Bolder Advocacy at Alliance for Justice. She is a recent graduate of University of Maryland, College Park, where she majored in Anthropology with a focus in sociocultural inequality and historical archaeology. A New York native, she has conducted research in New Orleans, Louisiana, Annapolis, Maryland, Wilmington, North Carolina, and in the countries of Brazil and Chile. Alexa is passionate about reproductive, civil, and human rights. She has previously worked at the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society, National History Day, and was also an intern at Alliance for Justice during her senior year of college. In her spare time, Alexa likes competitive speed knitting and creating feminist butter sculptures.
