Britney is an Outreach Associate for Alliance for Justice. Prior to joining AFJ, Britney spent her time working on various political campaigns. She previously worked for President Obama’s reelection campaign in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where she recruited, managed, and trained teams of more than 1,000 volunteers to organize their communities and neighborhoods into teams that register, persuade, and motivate voters. Through her hard work, Britney was able to help the Obama Campaign win the state of Pennsylvania and her team was recognized in the New York Times for securing more votes in their state than Obama received in 2008. The article referred to them as “One of the three counties that won the election.”

Britney is a graduate of East Carolina University where her commitment to social justice led her to a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. During her time at East Carolina she also served as President of the College Democrats for two terms and volunteered on multiple campaigns and community outreach projects.
