Karol Alzate Londono is the Klagsbrun Outreach Fellow at Alliance for Justice. She graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in History and Literature of Latin America. Karol was an integral member of her school’s Global Health and AIDS Coalition, a global health group on campus that worked with legislators in Massachusetts to advocate for increased Global Health funding abroad. Her passion for global health and policy work led her to volunteer for Partners In Health in Boston, where she created trainings and tools to organize activists across the country.
In addition to her work with global health, Karol worked on climate change through various internships. With the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Cities and Climate Change and subsequently the Compact of Mayors, she organized local leaders to combat the effect of climate change on cities around the world.
Karol was born in Medellin, Colombia and spent most of her life in New York.
