Kathy Plate

Outreach Specialist

Kathy is an organizer for Alliance for Justice's First Monday Campaign.  Before joining Alliance for Justice, Kathy worked as the Women's Studies Coordinator and Student Adviser at Colorado State University's Office of Women's Programs and Studies.  She also worked on completing her Masters in Anthropology and Women's Studies, writing a Thesis titled, Equalizing Gender or Reinforcing Tradition?: An Ethnographic Study of the Rock Climbing Community.  Kathy earned her BA in Anthropology from Colorado State University in 2004, graduating cum laude.
