Norman RosenbergBoard Norman Rosenberg is the founder of Rosenberg Consulting, LLC, a Washington DC-based firm that works with progressive non-profits on such issues as organizational development, board and staff training, messaging and fundraising. Prior to establishing his consulting practice in 2007, Mr. Rosenberg was the CEO of three national public interest organizations. In the 1980’s, he was the director of the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, the nation’s leading legal advocacy organization for people with mental disabilities. From 1990 to 2003, he served as executive director of the New Israel Fund, an American-Israeli philanthropy that supports hundreds of Israeli NGOs working in the areas of civil and human rights, tolerance and democracy. From 2003-2006, Rosenberg was the President of Parents’ Action for Children, a national non-profit dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of early childhood development and school readiness programs. Before coming to Washington in 1977, Rosenberg was an assistant professor of law and director of clinical programs at the SUNY at Buffalo, School of Law.
