Richard Wexler

Richard Wexler was an award-winning reporter, producer and news director for newspapers, public radio and public television stations.  He is the author of Wounded Innocents: The Real Victims of the War Against Child Abuse (Prometheus Books).  Wexler’s reporting about America’s child welfare systems led him to co-found and serve as Executive Director of the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform.  He is a graduate of the City University of New York and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where he received the school’s highest honor, a Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship.
