Winsome McIntosh

Board

Winsome McIntosh has close to 40 years experience in the philanthropic community. She has served on the board of the McIntosh Foundation since 1972, while actively participating in its management and was a founder of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties in Florida and the Kappa Delta Foundation.  McIntosh has served on the Program committee and Host committee of the Council on Foundations and was the founder and first executive director of the Association of Small Foundations.

She has served on the boards of a number of nonprofit corporations (both local and national) including presently the League of Conservation Voters, Defenders of Wildlife, the Kappa Delta Foundation, and ClientEarth, UK. In the for-profit community, she has served on the boards of American Legal Systems, Island National Bank and Trust Company, and presently Mo-DV, a California software company. She is the recipient of many awards for civic achievement including the Margaret Douglas medal of Achievement (Garden Club of America), the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award, and the Florida State University Achievement medal. McIntosh is the Founder and President of Rachel's Network, a membership organization of leading women philanthropists interested in the issues of environment, women and children's health, and women's empowerment. For the past nine years, she has nurtured the development of Rachel's Network as its President.
