Benefits of Membership

AFJ offers members a comprehensive set of services, resources, technical assistance and support designed to increase staff and organizational advocacy capacity. Specific membership benefits include:

  • Members only Bolder Advocacy training, free customized workshops, and unlimited 20% discounts on webinars to paid member organizations each year
  • Members only in-person briefings on key legislative and regulatory actions affecting nonprofit advocacy
  • An annual meeting of AFJ’s member organizations
  • Content for members’ websites/blogs/newsletters with AFJ bylines, and invitations to members to provide guest blogs to the Bolder Advocacy and AFJ blogs
  • Invitations to special events and special access to the VIP reception at AFJ’s annual Justice First! Luncheon
  • Listing in AFJ’s Justice First! luncheon program and other acknowledgements throughout the year
  • A quarterly email update

Membership Dues

Introductory dues are $500. Dues for subsequent years are modestly pro-rated based on organizational budgets, according to the sliding scale below:
  • Up to $2.5 Million: $500
  • $2.5 Million to $5 Million: $1,000
  • $5 Million to $10 Million: $2,500
  • $10 Million to $20 Million: $3,500
  • $20 Million and above: $5,000
