Alliance for Justice Issues Report on Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Nominee Judge Mary Murguia

July 15, 2010, Washington, DC—Alliance for Justice has issued a report detailing the background of Judge Mary Murguia, who has been nominated to fill one of four current vacancies on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her hearing will take place before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, July 15, at 4:00 p.m.  Judge Murguia was nominated by President Barack Obama on March 25, 2010.

Judge Murguia is one of five nominees to the circuit courts of appeals pending before the Senate Judiciary Committee.  An additional seven circuit court nominees are awaiting a vote by the full Senate.
