Gene E. K. Pratter

U.S. Court of Appeals - Third Circuit

The Bush administration nominated Gene E. K. Pratter to the Third Circuit as a United States Circuit Judge. Since 2004, Judge Pratter has served as on the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  Prior to serving as a district court judge, Judge Pratter worked at the law firm of Duane Morris LLP, where she concentrated her practice in commercial litigation, professional responsibility, and insurance law. She became a partner at Duane Morris in 1983 and served as the firm's General Counsel from 1999 until 2004.
