Shalom David Stone

U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals - Third Circuit

The Bush administration nominated Shalom David Stone to the Third Circuit to fill the vacancy created when Samuel Alito was confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice. Currently, Stone is a partner at the Newark, New Jersey firm of Walder, Hayden & Brogan, where he represents clients ranging from the Discovery Channel and Film Garden Entertainment to individual criminal defendants. Before joining Stone was an associate at Sills, Cummis, Tichman, Epstein & Gross. He has served as Chair of the Federal Practice and Procedure Section for the New Jersey State Bar Association, and as a member of the Lawyers’ Advisory Committee for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
