Since its inception in 1985, Alliance for Justice has taken a leading role in efforts to ensure a fair and independent federal judiciary, monitoring judicial nominations at all levels of the federal bench.  As part of the Judicial Selection Project, AFJ promotes support for the nomination and confirmation of highly capable and fair judges who have demonstrated a commitment to equal justice.
