 Summary:

This resource provides a list of questions used to evaluate leadership development and civic engagement.

 Detailed Description:

This resource includes a list of questions that Northeast Action used to identify ways in which its affiliates could improve their performances in leadership development and civic engagement efforts.  Though the questions do not directly speak to the impact of the leadership development and civic engagement work, they do offer a methodology for evaluating how the work is done.

For both leadership development and civic engagement, the tool divides questions into major categories.  For instance, under leadership development, the questions focus on such topics as outreach, leadership tracks, actions and events, and core skills.  In this way, Northeast Action has highlighted key areas of focus for each area of work, as well as specific evaluative questions about affiliates' approaches and experiences.

Users may find the questions contained in this resource useful in evaluating leadership development and civic engagement work, either directly as written or as a basis upon which they build a more tailored set of evaluative questions.
