Catharina HaynesUnited States Circuit Court - Fifth Circuit The Bush administration nominated Catharina Haynes to the Fifth Circuit as a United States Circuit Judge. The Fifth Circuit is one the most influential circuit courts in the country as it has produced more Supreme Court Justices than any other. Judge Haynes recently returned to private practice and is in the litigation department of Baker Botts, LLP. Judge Haynes served as a state court judge on the 191st District Court in Dallas, an elected position, from 1998 to 2007.
