Media Advisory: AFJ Joins Congressman Christopher Murphy to Announce Supreme Court Ethics Legislation

Washington, D.C., February 28, 2011—Alliance for Justice will join Congressman Chris Murphy (CT-5) at a press conference announcing Supreme Court ethics legislation on Tuesday, March 1 at 1:00 pm at the House Triangle. Murphy will introduce a bill to establish a mandatory ethical code for Supreme Court justices and reform the process governing the recusal of justices when they are challenged regarding potential conflicts of interest.
