Each of these affiliated organizations and their subsidiaries are committed to preserving your privacy and safeguarding your sensitive information. We are committed to protecting your privacy online and maintaining your expectation of trust while visiting our website. In some limited circumstances, we may be required to disclose information that is collected on our web sites. Those circumstances include requests for information from law enforcement agencies or requests to produce information in compliance with a subpoena or judicial order.
Personal Information You Choose to Provide:
We do not collect personally identifiable information about individual users except when such individuals provide information on a voluntary basis. Should you chose to provide your information it may be shared within our family of organizations and other closely aligned groups for the purpose of responding to any comments or questions you submit and to provide any follow-up information about our organizations and our issues. It also may be shared with an outside company to fulfill any request you have made to us, such as charging your donation.
Over time we will want to communicate with you via e-mail to inform you about new features and content on our sites, to request donations, and to urge action on social justice issues. What are "cookies" and how do we use them:

We follow principles in compliance with the Association of Fundraising Professional's Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice. AFJ is extremely protective of the information gathered through its web site.
Protecting Kids' Privacy:
We are concerned about the safety and privacy of children online. Because of this, we will make all efforts to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). COPPA and its accompanying FTC regulations establish United States federal law that protects the privacy of children using the Internet. We do not and will not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. Our site is not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13, and we will develop our site with the capacity to block acceptance of information from children under 13 whenever age-related information is requested. It is possible that by fraud or deception by others we may receive information given to us by, or pertaining to children under 13. If we are notified of this, as soon as we verify the information, we will immediately obtain parental consent or else delete the information from our servers.
