AFJ Applauds House Impeachment for Upholding the Rule of Law

WASHINGTON, D.C., December 18, 2019 – Following the House’s vote approving two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, Alliance for Justice President Nan Aron released the following statement:

“It’s a tragically historic event to have to impeach a president, but we applaud the House for taking the proper steps to defend the Constitution. Alliance for Justice has always stood for upholding the rule of law and its fair application. Nobody is above the law, and impeachment is the appropriate and necessary way to hold Trump accountable for his blatant abuses of power.”
