Kimberly Humphrey, the legal director for federal courts at the Alliance for Justice, said they’re pushing Democrats to “have a plan to get those renominations through and move as quickly as possible” in the new Congress. She said she was “optimistic, but of course it was disappointing to have that many still left over.”
“We celebrate the progress that was made, but it’s not a great position to be in to have to go through those renominations,” Humphrey said.
